Our focus is to maintain a space worthy of a child. One that is safe, positive, empowering, and where learning comes naturally. We owe it to the children to provide an emotionally stable, physical safe, mentally supportive, judgment-free and all inclusive space filled with all possibilities.
We desire our children to gain the courage and understanding to confidently uphold their own truths while remaining compassionate towards others, all while having a robust excitement to grow intellectually to set them up for success in their academics.

Child-Centered Approach
Our learning approach and curriculum encourages children to explore and progress in their own way and at their own pace, becoming confident and involved learners. Children are taught how to think, not what to think as they grow socially, physically, emotionally and intellectually. Overtime, children gain a strong sense of identity allowing them to:

Empowering Environment
We strive to insure each child knows they are loved, unique, valued, and a part of the Four Square family. Every day we meet the children’s individual needs consistently and promptly as possible, resulting in children who feel seen, secure and safe. This allows them to appreciate, respect, collaborate and function positively with other adults and children. In addition, feeling secure & accepted allows children the freedom and confidence to safely explore every day, taking full advantage of the learning experiences we offer. A protected child is an empowered child!
Parents are equal partners in a child’s education, and we encourage parents and guardians to become involved in our program. We want our parents to feel both welcomed and appreciated at all times.
Nature Inspired Classroom
Bringing the learning outside, and nature inside is a passion of ours. Research shows that children who play in natural settings are typically happier, healthier and more likely to appreciate the world around them. We desire to instill an awe and appreciation for the wonders of the world around them. Nature inspires exploring, discovery, risk taking, learning, creativity, health, social skills, well-being and independence. Our carefully selected monthly themes provoke child exploration and learning outside and inside. Children will investigate nature both inside and outdoors, on Four Square grounds, and on excursions outside of the fenced in play area. Four Square believes all people should be good stewards of the earth and we are proud to provide children with a safe place to explore the world around them and to gain a stronger connection to nature.
